Autumn Slow

Cold breeze, darkness at supper time and those rainbow coloured trees…

Autumn is here.

It’s finally time to slow down and just enjoy the view. After a busy summer, filled with adventure and the chaos of work, I am so ready to sit down with a cup of tea.

Today we didn’t climb, hike or run around anywhere. Instead we drove out, down the old spit road, and just spent time in the estuary.

It was a blustery day with the scent of a burning wood stove hovering in the air.

Slowing down and appreciating the little things in life can be so rejuvenating for the soul.

As winter quickly approaches, we will spend these last few days of dry weather with ease and activities that clear the mind.
